Anti-Truth Media Bend Over Backward To Call Canadian Trans School Shooter By His Preferred Pronouns

Innocent civilians are dead at the hands of another alleged trans-identifying killer. And as per usual, media propagandists’ biggest concern is whether they’re referring to him with the correct pronouns.
Canadian law enforcement revealed on Wednesday the identity of the 18-year-old suspect (Jesse Van Rootselaar) allegedly responsible for killing at least eight and injuring dozens more in a school shooting on Tuesday. They also revealed that this young man “identified” as a woman.
Without missing a beat, so-called “journalists” moved quickly to display their subservience to radical gender ideology by making sure they referred to the male alleged killer as a female.
In the opening graph of their article on the male suspect, the Associated Press’s Jim Morris and Rob Gillies dutifully wrote, “The suspect in a Canada school shooting was an 18-year-old who had a history of police visits to her home to check on her mental health, authorities said Wednesday. …” (emphasis added).
The New York Times’ Matina Stevis-Gridneff and Vjosa Isai followed in similarly disgusting fashion. On the Times’ “updates” page on the shooting, the writers referred to the suspect as “Ms. Van Rootselaar” and repeatedly used “she” and “her” when referencing Van Rootselaar.
Newsweek and CNN also joined in on promoting the left’s trans insanity, with each outlet calling Van Rootselaar a “transgender woman” and “female,” respectively. People magazine’s Becca Longmire similarly referred to the suspected shooter as a “female” in the headline for her article and as a “woman” in the piece’s body.
