Trump Is the Most Respected President in U.S. History in the Arabic World: Brigitte Gabriel
By
Brigitte Gabriel said President Donald J. Trump is being celebrated across much of the world following the removal of Iran’s supreme leader, describing the moment as historic and widely welcomed throughout the Middle East.
Gabriel, who has long commented on developments in the region, said she has been tracking media coverage overseas and pointed to what she described as widespread respect for the United States and for President Trump in the Arabic world.
“He is a liberator and a hero around the world. I’m monitoring World Press. I’m monitoring the press in the Middle East, and you cannot believe the respect for America, the respect for President Trump, all throughout the Arabic world, even including in Lebanon, where Hezbollah is headquartered, even the majority of the Lebanese are rejoicing, of course, not the Shiite Muslims rejoicing of what President Trump did.”
Gabriel’s comments referenced Lebanon, where Hezbollah maintains its headquarters. She said that despite Hezbollah’s presence, many Lebanese citizens are welcoming the development.
Her remarks centered on the removal of Khomeini, whom she described as a dominant historical figure. She compared his influence to some of the most consequential leaders of the 20th century.
“This is a historic moment, because Khomeini, the Ayatollah, the supreme leader, was so influential and an important figure in history, he was equivalent to Lenin or Joseph Stalin or Mao Zedong and to take him out.”
Gabriel said the removal marks a turning point with global implications.
