ICE Houston Confirms Arrest of Over 400 Illegal Alien Child Predators

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested over 400 illegal alien child predators in the Houston area during the first year of President Donald Trump’s second term, according to a new agency report.
All 414 illegals were charged or convicted of child sex offenses.
The total is nearly double the 211 arrests recorded during the final year of former President Joe Biden’s administration, ICE said in a press release.
“As a group, the arrested criminal illegal aliens accounted for 761 child sex offenses and 525 other criminal offenses ranging from homicide to robbery,” the agency said.
Trump Administration Expands Immigration Enforcement
The arrests come as the Trump administration has intensified efforts to crack down on illegal immigration since returning to office last year.
ICE said many of the individuals taken into custody had extensive criminal histories in addition to immigration violations.
Repeat Offenders Among Those Arrested
One of those arrested was Juan Leonardo Garcia Ibarra, a 48-year-old Mexican national who had illegally reentered the United States 12 times.
The press release stated:
“Juan Leonardo Garcia Ibarra, a 48-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, arrested by ICE April 4, 2025… has illegally reentered the U.S. 12 times and been convicted of sexual indecency with a child, aggravated assault, cruelty toward a child, DWI and felony illegal reentry, and three times for illegal entry.
“ICE officers deported Garcia to Mexico on April 7, 2025.”
