Former Senator Nearly Unrecognizable After Aggressive Cancer Is Destroying His Body

I have a really awful update to share with you.
Former Senator Ben Sasse from Nebraska is one of those guys seemingly in the Thomas Massie / Rand Paul category of people.
Seemingly very likeable in general.
“Right” on most policies, at least in a vacuum.
Seems like a really good guy at his core.
But a pretty extreme anti-Trumper and never helped get any MAGA policies through Congress.
Setting all of that aside, I wouldn’t want what he is going through to happen to my worst enemy.
He was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer back in December and given 3-4 months to live….and it’s currently April, so do the math.
He sat down for a new interview this week, and two things immediately jumped out at me.
One, he sadly looks absolutely awful. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen cancer look this bad before:
Just heartbreaking.
The second thing that immediately jumps out is the strength of his faith and the incredible way in which he is navigating this.
