“In America, We Speak ENGLISH” – Trump Declares English “The Language of Freedom” – “This Is Our Culture. This Is Our Character”
President Trump on Friday declared that English is the “language of our founding” and the “language of freedom” during his Independence Day address at Mount Rushmore on Friday night, taking aim at the destruction of our culture through mass migration and anti-American ideology.
“In America, we speak English because that is the language of our founding, and for 1000 years that has been the language of freedom,” Trump declared in his patriotic Friday address.
The President previously signed an executive order in March 2025, designating English as the official language of the United States.
The order states that it’s “long past time that English is declared as the official language of the United States,” citing the use of English throughout American history as the de facto national language since the founding of the United States and in our founding documents.
“An American always wants peace and order, but we will never shrink from danger or threat,” Trump said.
“We will always fight, fight, fight, and win, win, win. We got to do that because this is our culture, this is our character.”
He further slammed the replacement of our American identity, pointing to Communism as a “mortal threat to American liberty” and the “greatest threat to our country, including World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor, or even 9/11.”
“There is now a resurgence of the communist menace in our land, including from newcomers to our country who embrace ideas totally opposed to our way of life and our great success,” President Trump said.
“We’re not going to let this happen to us. Believe me, we’re not letting it happen.”
