Jasmine Crockett claims racism in World Cup final after fans root against Argentina

“There’s also a racist history that exists as it relates to Argentina.”
Following Spain’s victory over Argentina in the FIFA World Cup final over the weekend, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has said that racism played a part in who fans chose to root for.
During a hearing on Tuesday surrounding details of the Smithsonian, Crockett addressed Professor David Blight, who was testifying in the hearing on behalf of the Democrats. In recent months, Republicans in Congress have taken issue with different “woke” aspects of the Smithsonian museums in Washington, DC.
In her comments, Crockett also claimed that fans were rooting against Argentina, which has a “racist history.”
