Britain’s Nigel Farage WINS ‘Overwhelming’ Special Election Victory Against Man Dressed as a Bin
Nigel Farage has declared an “overwhelming” victory in the Clacton by-election after resigning his seat and asking his constituents to renew his parliamentary mandate.
The Reform UK leader triggered the election last month amid a parliamentary investigation into a £5 million gift he received before becoming an MP.
Rather than allow Westminster to determine his political fate through a standards investigation, Farage put the question directly to the voters.
“I called this by-election because I wanted the people of Clacton, the voters of this constituency to be my judge, not the mainstream media in Britain,” Farage told supporters Thursday.
“The verdict has now come in,” he continued. “It is a convincing, overwhelming win.”

Farage said he had secured more votes than he received during his historic 2024 victory, when 21,225 people backed him and finally sent the Brexit leader to Parliament after seven previous attempts.
