Socialist Mayor Mamdani Delivers Full Address in Chinese, Giving Away 2,000 Broadway Tickets for Free
New York City’s radical socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani just dropped a full video address… in Chinese.
Not English. Chinese.
The democratic socialist (or straight-up communist, as President Trump and countless others have rightly labeled him) stared into the camera and delivered an entire promotional spiel in Mandarin, promoting free Broadway tickets for high school students. He opens by admitting, “Hello, my name is Mamdani. I don’t know Chinese, but I want to try.”
Then he proceeds to push the government giveaway program in the language of the Chinese Communist Party’s homeland.
In a press release, Mamdani said in a statement,
“In a city overflowing with extraordinary art and culture, every young person should have the opportunity to experience those moments, regardless of what’s in their bank account.
“That’s why, in partnership with TDF, we’re offering more than 2,000 free tickets to some of Broadway’s most exciting shows, along with discounted tickets to many more. We want every high school student to have the opportunity to explore this city, experience incredible art and discover something that stays with them long after the curtain falls.”
