Billionaires are funding James Talarico to help turn Texas blue. The party that hates billionaires actually loves them. Reid Hoffman is one of the billionaires buying this Texas senatorial election. He has already spent $11.5 million buying Talarico a seat.
According to Federal Election Commission records and reports by The Texas Tribune, far-left billionaire venture capitalist and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman has given $11.5 million to Lone Star Rising, a super PAC supporting the U.S. Senate campaign of Texas Democrat James Talarico. Lone Star Rising has given over $17.5 million to Talarico so far.
Meanwhile, the dishonest Talarico claims Paxton’s donors are buying the seat.
Talarico said, “Billionaires are pouring an unprecedented amount of money into Texas to try to buy this Senate seat … they are hoping that Texans will care more about these manufactured culture wars than actual wars. They’re hoping Texans will care more about pronouns than prices. But I think Texans see through this distraction.”
