Multi-Agency Raids Hit Twin Cities — JD Vance Arrives Tomorrow With a Major ‘War on Fraud’ Announcement

By

Something big is moving in Minnesota.

Federal and state agents descended on multiple sites across the Twin Cities on Thursday morning, carrying out what the FBI called “court-authorized investigative activity.”

One of the locations was the St. Louis Park office of Iska Inc., an active state-licensed provider of home and community-based services.

The timing is impossible to ignore: Vice President JD Vance is due in St. Cloud on Friday with members of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud for a major announcement in the Trump administration’s “War on Fraud.”

Neither the FBI nor the White House has tied the searches to Vance’s visit. The two developments are unfolding less than 24 hours apart as Minnesota once again becomes the center of a rapidly expanding federal fraud crackdown.

Eric Daugherty posted on-scene video showing the damaged entrance and the heavy law-enforcement presence:

The operation was far larger than a routine local visit.

FOX 9 reported that the participating agencies included the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, U.S. Postal Inspectors, IRS criminal investigators, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Minnesota Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

That combination points to a coordinated financial and health-care investigation with both federal and state authorities involved.

Investigators were seen working at a St. Louis Park business center Thursday morning. Federal officials would confirm only that the activity was court-authorized and taking place at multiple sites.

The station’s crews watched agents working at the scene but reported no public inventory of what was seized, no named defendants and no criminal complaint explaining the operation. The FBI’s description is therefore the firmest official account available: multiple sites, multiple agencies and judicial authorization, with the underlying allegations still sealed from public view.

CBS Minnesota reported that employees arrived at Iska Inc. to find agents removing boxes from the office and the glass in the front door shattered.

Iska describes itself as a culturally competent agency that provides therapy and social services to disabled people in the Twin Cities area.

Employees told the station they had worked there for years providing autism services. Their account adds an important human detail to the scene: staff members apparently arrived expecting a normal workday and instead encountered federal agents, damaged glass and evidence being carried away.
