US companies handing over personal data to NSA

A new report  has revealed that thousands of U.S. companies have been handing over personal  information of American citizens to the National Security Agency.   Bloomberg  reported on Saturday that four people familiar with the process said  “technology, finance and manufacturing companies are working closely with U.S.  national security agencies, providing sensitive information and in return  receiving benefits that include access to classified intelligence.”   The shocking  report came after former NSA contractor Edward Snowden disclosed that the agency  is collecting millions of Americans’ phone records and the computer  communications of foreigners from Google and other Internet  companies.   The… View Article

NSA admits listening to U.S. phone calls without warrants

The National Security Agency has acknowledged in a new classified briefing that it does not need court authorization to listen to domestic phone calls. Rep. Rick Perry to Meet, Recruit CT and NY Gun Manufacturers to Texas

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) will be in Connecticut June 17 to meet with firearm manufacturers who find their businesses penalized and hampered by the new gun control laws enacted by Connecticut Gov. Pro-Gun Republican Wins CT District for First Time in 40 Years

Although Democrats and progressives have claimed politicians who oppose gun control will lose their offices at the hands of angry, pro-gun control Americans in coming elections, a pro-gun Republican just won in Connecticut. Troops ‘targeted by NSA for anti-Obama views’

The NSA is systematically monitoring the Internet posts and telephone  conversations of U.S. military returning from Afghanistan, according to a  civil-liberties attorney. “The FBI and the Secret Service are showing up to request an interview to  question specific Internet posts the veteran has placed on websites such as  Facebook,” explained attorney John Whitehead, founder of the Rutherford  Institute. Caller phoned 999 to tell police his prostitute was ugly

A MAN dialled 999 to complain to police that a  prostitute was UGLY after  meeting her outside a hotel. The caller told West Midlands Police he wanted “to report her for breaching  the Sale of Goods Act”. But an officer in the call centre at Solihull, Birmingham, responded by  telling the man the woman had not committed any offences and explained to  him  that soliciting for sex was illegal. Off-duty cops collect DNA samples at Alabama roadblocks

Off-duty cops in two counties in Alabama spent the weekend collecting saliva  and blood samples from drivers at roadblocks. According to Lt. Freddie Turrentine with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s  Department, drivers were asked to voluntarily offer samples of their saliva and  blood for a study being conducted by the Pacific Institute for Research and  Evaluation.
