Concealed-carry permits see dramatic increase in 2013

More people in Colorado than ever before are attempting to legally carry a concealed gun, and by no small margin. It’s 87 percent more. And while 2012 saw a sizable increase from 2011 of permit seekers, that figure pales in comparison to this year. From January to June, 31,518 background checks were processed for concealed-carry permits by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, according to bureau data. For the same period last year, there were only 16,886 processed. In addition, more background checks have been processed in the first… View Article

Obama and Holder Race Baiters – Womens Right to Self Defence

Obama and Holder Race Baiters – Womens Right to Self Defence The attorney general of the United States is engaged in a shocking extrajudicial publicity campaign. Eric Holder is prosecuting George Zimmerman in the court of public opinion because he knows he wouldn’t have a prayer of convicting him in a court of law. Worse, in doing so, Holder is quite deliberately stoking resentment and tension — under the guise of leading a “national conversation” about race. The second thing to bear in mind is that race-baiting is the last resort of scoundrels whose insipid policy claims cannot survive collision… View Article

Chicago Hosts Emergency Dem Gun Control Summit

Chicago Hosts Emergency Dem Gun Control Summit Democratic representatives who are also members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) gathered in Chicago on July 26 to discuss “urban shootings” and “bring attention to an issue they say has reached epidemic levels.” They represented their gathering as “a new chapter in the decades-old fight to tackle inner-city violence.” It is one they hope will take up the slack they see following gun control’s April defeat in the Senate. According to The Hill, Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) said the gathering “will shine light on the burgeoning problem of gun violence in Chicago… View Article

Colorado Police Gun Buyback Program Canceled

Colorado Police Gun Buyback Program Canceled over State’s Strict Gun Laws All across the country police departments have sponsored gun buyback programs for the purpose of “getting guns off the streets.” But one buyback event in Boulder, CO had to be canceled because the state’s new gun laws are so strict that the police can’t even navigate the law to sponsor the program. The event was canceled by Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle, who sadly had to inform the community that Colorado’s new gun laws made it “nearly impossible” to follow the law. One of the strict new laws that… View Article

Holder Declares War on Texas

Holder Declares War on Texas, Ignores Supreme Court Ruling Attorney General Eric Holder has launched a war against Texas, and in doing so is defying the Supreme Court of the United States. The imminent judicial beat-down of Holder highlights that this case is not about the rule of law and instead abuses the federal courts for political purposes to rile up the far left and demonize Republicans. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 (VRA) was enacted pursuant to the Constitution’s Fifteenth Amendment, making it illegal to deny someone’s voting… View Article

Obama Admin’s Radical Agenda on Race

Obama Admin’s Radical Agenda on Race and Government Power These past two weeks show just how extreme an agenda President Barack Obama is pushing through his Cabinet officers when it comes to race and government power. Secretary Kathleen Sebelius at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services compared those who oppose Obamacare to those who opposed the Voting Rights Act of 1965. She then separately said that decent people need to stand up to Obamacare’s opponents the way they would stand against lynching black Americans. U.N. Ambassador Ken Blackwell is a black American who also opposes Obamacare. Blackwell responded… View Article
