Poll: 60 Percent of Trump Voters See Media as ‘Enemies’ to People Like Them

by Katie McHugh A HuffPost/YouGov poll released Wednesday found that 83 percent of Trump voters believe the media is hostile towards them—with 60 percent saying the media is “enemies to people like” them. The Huffington Post reports that’s an uptick from February, when 51 percent of Trump voters thought the media is “an enemy to people like you.” Well over half, or 68 percent, of Hillary Clinton voters say media are an “ally” or friendly to people like them. Pennsylvania Republicans Push Bill to Make Gun Owners a ‘Protected Class’

by AWR Hawkins Twenty-four Republican Representatives and one Democrat are pushing legislation that would make Pennsylvania gun owners a “protected class.” Gun owners would be protected from discrimination by having their right to keep and bear arms firmly ensconced in the Pennsylvania Human Rights Act (PHRA). According to the Pennsylvania Record, the legislation–House Bill 38–“is currently in committee,” but would protect gun-owning employees from employers who want to ban firearms on workplace property. For example, HB 38 would bar such employers from preventing gun owners from keeping firearms in their cars that could be retrieved for self-defense.
