Obama hit by Snowden setbacks with China, Russia

WASHINGTON     (AP) — For President Barack Obama, National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden’s globe-trotting evasion of U.S. authorities has dealt a startling setback to efforts to strengthen ties with China and raised the prospect of worsening tensions with Russia. Indeed, Russia’s foreign minister on Tuesday called U.S. demands for Snowden’s extradition “ungrounded and unacceptable.” Relations with both China and Russia have been at the forefront of Obama’s foreign policy agenda this month, underscoring the intertwined interests among these uneasy partners. Obama met just last week with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of… View Article

Senate Bill Incentivizes Employers To Fire Americans and Hire Amnestied Immigrants

Under the Gang of 8’s backroom immigration deal with Senators Schumer, Corker and Hoeven, formerly illegal immigrants who are amnestied will be eligible to work, but will not be eligible for ObamaCare. Employers who would be required to pay as much as a $3,000 penalty for most employees who receive an ObamaCare healthcare “exchange” subsidy, would not have to pay the penalty if they hire amnestied immigrants. Consequently, employers would have a significant incentive to hire or retain amnestied immigrants, rather than current citizens, including those who have recently achieved citizenship via the current naturalization process. The issue is really… View Article

New Immigration Bill Has Taxpayer Subsidized ObamaCars for Youths

Breitbart News has learned there is a provision included in the immigration bill that could be used to give free cars, motorcycles, scooters or other vehicles to young people around the country over a period of 15 months after the bill passes.  The new provision is a result of the latest addition to the Corker-Hoeven amendment, which is essentially an entirely new version of the bill.   The Washington Examiner’s Byron York uncovered the new Obama stimulus program that Gang of Eight members and other Senate Republicans inserted into the bill as a sweetheart deal for liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders… View Article

Nearly All Americans Living Paycheck-to-Paycheck

The economy isn’t getting better and the unemployment numbers we keep seeing are far from accurate. According to CNN Money, 76 percent of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck. Roughly three-quarters of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, with little to no emergency savings, according to a survey released by Bankrate.com Monday. Fewer than one in four Americans have enough money in their savings account to cover at least six months of expenses, enough to help cushion the blow of a job loss, medical emergency or some other unexpected event, according to the survey of 1,000 adults. Meanwhile, 50% of those surveyed have… View Article

If carbon dioxide is so bad for the planet, why do greenhouse growers buy CO2 generators to double plant growth?

(NaturalNews) For only “pennies a day,” any greenhouse owner can produce CO2 to  help increase plant yields in their greenhouses. That’s the message on CO2  generators sold by greenhouse supply companies across the United States and  Canada. “1,500 ppm [of carbon dioxide] can be achieved… these generators  automatically provide the carbon dioxide needed to meet maximum growing  potential for only pennies a day,” the ad says. View it yourself in  this picture taken from a greenhouse supply magazine: http://www.naturalnews.com/images/CO2-Generator-Section.jpg CO2  generators “improve plant quality” and “increase production.” They’re made in  the USA… View Article

U.S. dairy industry petitions FDA to approve aspartame as hidden, unlabeled additive in milk, yogurt, eggnog and cream

(NaturalNews) You probably already know that the FDA has declared war on raw  milk and even helped fund and coordinate armed  government raids against raw milk farmers and distributors. Yes, it’s  insane. This brand of tyranny is unique to the USA and isn’t even conducted in  China, North Kora or Cuba. Only in the USA are raw milk farmers treated like  terrorists. But now the situation is getting even more insane than you  could have imagined: the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and the  National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) have filed  a petition with the FDA asking the FDA… View Article

Now EPA accused of selectively targeting conservative groups

As bad as it was that the Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative and Tea Party groups filing for tax-exempt status, it appears now that the IRS wasn’t the only federal agency doing so. According to June 4 Fox News report, the Environmental Protection Agency – itself used by successive administrations to harass and punish Americans – was also targeting conservative groups: The allegations concern the [EPA], which is being accused of trying to charge conservative groups fees while largely exempting liberal groups. The fees applied to Freedom of Information Act requests – allegedly, the EPA waived them for liberal groups far more often than it did for… View Article

Pelosi Booed at Liberal Conference for Saying Snowden Broke the Law

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was booed by liberal activists  Saturday for defending President Obama on the NSA’s surveillance programs and  saying leaker Edward Snowden broke the law. This occurred during a Q&A session at the far-left Netroots Nation  conference in San Jose. As Pelosi was saying the country needs a “balance” between security and  privacy, a man shouted, “It’s not a balance. It’s not constitutional!…No  secret laws!” Officials then escorted the man from the room as others showed support for  him by shouting, “Leave him alone!” and “That’s what a police state… View Article
