Warren Reveals $52 Trillion Medicare for All Plan, Claims No Middle-Class Tax Increase Necessary

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) unveiled a Medicare for all plan Friday that will cost nearly $52 trillion over the next ten years and, she claims, will not require any middle-class tax increases.

The proposal would be funded by roughly $20 trillion in taxes on employers, financial transactions, and super-wealthy corporations over the next decade. Existing federal and state spending would account for the remaining $30 trillion in costs.

“We don’t need to raise taxes on the middle class by one penny to finance Medicare for All,” Warren writes as part of the plan.

“When fully implemented, my approach to Medicare for All would mark one of the greatest federal expansions of middle class wealth in our history,” she continues. “And if Medicare for All can be financed without any new taxes on the middle class, and instead by asking giant corporations, the wealthy, and the well-connected to pay their fair share, that’s exactly what we should do.”

Warren Releases $52 Trillion ‘Medicare For All’ Plan Funded By Unicorn Farts

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has finally released her “Medicare for All” plan, which her campaign says would cost $52 trillion over the next 10 years. While Warren pledged that middle-class taxes would not increase to pay for “Medicare for All,” given Congress’s refusal to pass a regular budget for a decade, the looming debt crisis due to hundreds of trillions in underfunded existing entitlements like Social Security, and decades of record-breaking federal budget deficits, it’s a certainty her pledge will turn out to be as reliable as President Obama’s “you can keep your doctor.”

Trick-Or-Treaters In Nunavut Are Getting Their Own Polar-Bear Protectors For Halloween

Halloween is finally here, but unfortunately, in some parts of Canada, the weather is not ideal for trick-or-treating or partying. While dealing with rain and wind on Halloween night is bad enough, things could actually be a lot scarier. Halloween in Nunavut has an entirely different safety concern: polar bears.

In one Nunavut community, Arviat, the Halloween festivities will be continuing, but everything will be done indoors. Kids still get to wear their costumes, but they’ll all head to the community hall and stay inside.

Permit to carry? It’s called the 2nd Amendment

Watching and listening to so-called journalists discuss firearms and the Second Amendment could well represent the ultimate test for one’s logic meter. I have made a vow to switch off the radio in my truck immediately as soon as the issue comes up – a wise decision for not only retaining my well-developed sanity, but to keep me from jerking my pick-up into the ditch due to the abject shock from all the nonstop nonsense and outright BS from clueless pundits and assorted numbskulls.

Here’s a few little gun facts I don’t think will get in the way of the runaway ignorance spouted constantly in the media, but I am compelled nonetheless to get them out there in hopes that someone, somewhere may actually give a damn about truth, logic, common sense and evidence.

Even my otherwise accurate friend Bill O’Reilly just last night misstated that the Illinois FOID (Firearms Owners ID) card was a permit to carry. It is not. It is just a Cuba, Russia, China, Japan-type government permit to purchase and own a firearm and or ammunition. A FOID card is not a permit to keep and bear arms. It is a criminal infringement by elected employees of their oath to the U.S. Constitution.

Our individual American keeping, bearing and carrying permit already exists in the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights, just FYI.

Constitutional Carry States 2019

In the United States, the phrase “constitutional carry” means that someone can carry a handgun without a license or permit. The term was derived from the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which gives citizens the right to bear arms.

Few states have constitutional carry laws. As of 2018, the states that permit constitution carry are:
