CNN: “The Least Trusted Name in News,” According to a New Poll

Liberals, hold onto your pants!

A new poll, conducted by the Huffington Post and YouGov has revealed results showing that CNN is a less believable news network than Fox News.

Yes, that’s right, “The Most Trusted Name In News” is no longer the most trusted. It looks like those Fox News haters have some reevaluating to do.

A mere 16% of those polled deem CNN “very believable” while 22% claim that the network is “somewhat believable.” In the “very believable” category, that is even lower than MSNBC, which has been found by Pew Research to contain a frighteningly unsettling opinion-to-news-ratio. Fox News came in with 25% for both categories

Media Bias: Pretty Much All Of Journalism Now Leans Left, Study Shows

Media Bias: Ask journalists, and they’ll likely tell you they play things right down the middle. They strive to be “fair.” They’re “centrists.” Sorry, not true. The profound leftward ideological bias of the Big Media is the main reason why America now seems saturated with “fake news.” Journalists, besotted with their own ideology, are no longer able to recognize their own bias.

Justin Trudeau’s Failures have Consequences for Canadians

Monday, October 15, 2018. The Honourable Candice Bergen, Conservative House Leader, and Alain Rayes, Quebec Political Lieutenant, today issued the following statement regarding the consequences of Justin Trudeau’s failure:

“Over the past three years, Conservatives have worked hard to expose Justin Trudeau’s many failures.

Canada Can’t Afford Another Four Years of Justin Trudeau

Here is a brief – and far from comprehensive – recap of the last year in Canada’s Parliament.

Last year at this time there was great concern over illegal migrants crossing the border near Emerson MB and across the country. Justin Trudeau’s reckless “welcome to Canada” tweet started the stampede towards the Canadian border. A year and half into this crisis, with tens of thousands of people having already entered the country illegally and hundreds of millions of dollars spent providing services to these illegal migrants, the Liberals continue to do nothing to protect the integrity of our border.

Justin Trudeau: Maybe he is just really, really stupid

Most Canadians who do not spend their evenings drinking the Liberal Party Kool Aid do not like the way Justin Trudeau is running the country. They realize as leaders and politicians go, he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But it is possible even these people are actually overestimating his intelligence. As far as his mental abilities are concerned, he is probably a lot worse than most of us think he is.

No place in the NFL for cheerleaders in 2018

The Houston Texans aren’t even bothering with the pretense.

On their website is a photo gallery of the finalists from last weekend’s cheerleader tryouts, and visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorites. Are these action shots of the women that highlight their athletic ability or dance skills? Do they include a list of their qualifications?

Of course not. They’re headshots. Sorry, head and chest shots. Close-up ones, at that.

Getting rid of cheerleading is not the solution for the NFL

The knee-jerk reaction seems as sensible as defensible, sincere as it is clear: The NFL should get rid of cheerleaders.

In the #MeToo world we live in now, isn’t that the easiest way to combat the rash of allegations against NFL teams for demeaning, disgusting, and deplorable treatment of women they regard as little more than part-time appendages to titillate the male majority of their audience?

I know that was my first reaction. Was it yours? In the wake of the most recent reports, this time coming out of Washington, where a New York Times story included women saying they were forced to serve as evening escorts for high-money donors, and New Orleans, where reports detailed a set of rules and regulations that demeaned everything from a woman’s weight to her social behavior away from the job, I couldn’t help but think the best way to remove the potential for ongoing problems is to have the league get out of the cheerleading business altogether
