CNN medical analyst explains how Trump rallies pose community health risks, but protests do not

CNN attempted to justify their own double standards by airing a medical analyst’s claim that Black Lives Matter protests are safer than Trump rallies for transmission of the coronavirus.

Despite talking heads on the network endlessly lecturing about social distancing and wearing masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19, they have remained conspicuously silent when left-wing protesters riot and demonstrate in cities across the nation. But CNN medical analyst Leana Wen attempted to cover the bases with her analysis on “CNN Newsroom” Thursday.

The US officially raises the tobacco buying age to 21

A new law in the United States that prohibits the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21 is now in effect, according to the US Food and Drug Administration.
Last week, President Donald Trump signed the new minimum age into law as part of a sweeping spending bill. On Friday, the FDA noted on its website that “it is now illegal for a retailer to sell any tobacco product — including cigarettes, cigars and e-cigarettes — to anyone under 21. FDA will provide additional details on this issue as they become available.”

You Can Go to War but You Can’t Have a Smoke

In its never-ending habit of trying to regulate any aspect of American life it can get its mitts on, the United States Congress is now set to ban the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21.

The legislation is part of a year-end spending deal and has bipartisan support, according to The Hill and other outlets.

While broader efforts to regulate tobacco by banning certain flavors and e-cigarettes have stalled at the federal level, “lawmakers believe raising the tobacco purchasing age will make a difference,” that outlet also reported.

Marijuana Smoke vs. Tobacco Smoke

Any direct smoke inhalation can be detrimental to the oral cavity and lungs with regular, repeated use (inflammation, coughing, bronchitis/lung infections, increased phlegm/sputum/secretions, etc.).

According to medical literature, cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke have similar chemical properties, but the two have different pharmacological activities and are not equally carcinogenic (cancer-causing).

Cigarette Smoke and Cancer
Cigarettes are culturally known to have a higher incidence of causing cancer.

The 10 Most Beautiful Cannabis Dispensaries in America

An elite group of extraordinary storefronts across the nation serve as beacons of cutting-edge design, uncommonly elegant décor, and one-of-a-kind aesthetics. They can be found from north to south and coast to coast, in just as many small towns as in the biggest cities, demonstrating just how far we’ve come in a few short years of legal cannabis. Some inhabit historic buildings dating back to past centuries; others embrace modernity with ultra-minimalist spaces and white-on-white color schemes. Every detail of these dispensary designs, looks, and layouts is thought out, tinkered with, and improved upon, and the end results are nothing short of stunning.
