White Lives Banner – New Wexit Leader
Former Harper government House leader becomes interim leader of Wexit Canada
A veteran politician who once served as House leader in Stephen Harper’s Conservative government was named the interim leader of a political party seeking for Western Canada to secede from the rest of the country.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Wexit Canada posted on its Facebook page that Peter Downing had resigned as leader and that Jay Hill would take over in the interim.
“[He] will assume these responsibilities until the party is able to hold a founding convention and the grassroots members elect a new leader,” the party said.
Jason Kenney Pushes Back Against Alberta Separatists
Premier Jason Kenney is sharply rebuking those who believe the best way for Alberta to get a better deal out of Confederation is to threaten to quit it.
“I am an unqualified Canadian patriot, and I don’t believe you can qualify your patriotism,” Kenney said Friday.
“Either you love your country or you don’t.”
Kenney added that Alberta’s separation threat is an empty one, because there’s no evidence anything close to a majority of Albertans want it. And such a move would further hinder Alberta’s economy as it tries to dig out from COVID-related unemployment and a cratered oil and natural gas sector, he said.
‘Snap, Crackle, Pop’ Determined to Be Racist
Fiona Onasanya, a Black Lives Matter activist and former member of the UK parliament, claims that Kellogg’s Rice Krispies is a racist cereal because it has “three white boys” as mascots.
Now that’s “systemic racism”!
If Ms. Onasanya had stopped there, she would simply be dismissed as a fool and that would have been that. But in her eagerness to prove racism, Onasanya doubled down on her charge and, in the process, proved she is an ignorant fool.
@KelloggsUK, as you are yet to reply to my email – Coco Pops and Rice Krispies have the same compòsition (except for the fact CP’s are brown and chocolate flavoured)… so I was wondering why Rice Krispies have three white boys representing the brand and Coco Pops have a monkey?

It’s an idiotic point, even if it were true. It isn’t.

Trudeau announces new ‘voluntary’ COVID-19 contact tracing app
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced yesterday that a voluntary “Made in Canada” free national coronavirus contact-tracing smartphone application will be available to Ontario residents starting July 2, and will follow in other provinces later in the month.
In speaking to reporters yesterday, Trudeau said the app was developed in a collaboration among the Ontario government, BlackBerry, and Shopify, as well as the federal agency the Canadian Digital Service.
“As some people head back to work, testing and contact tracing is crucial,” said Trudeau at his daily press conference.
