11 US States Sue Obama’s Directive on Transgender Bathrooms

Eleven US states filed a lawsuit in federal court challenging President Barack Obama’s directive suggesting transgender students use the bathroom of their choice, Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel announced in a press release on Wednesday. WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — In addition to Wisconsin, the other states named as plaintiffs in the case are: Alabama, West Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, Maine, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Utah and Georgia.
