Paul: Leaks that brought down Flynn threaten ‘free society’

Rand Paul said Thursday that the leaks from the intelligence community to reporters that exposed Mike Flynn’s calls to the Russian ambassador are a threat to “a free society.” Paul said on MSNBC that Flynn needs to be investigated and prosecuted if he broke the law, but some attention needs to be given to the role the intelligence community played in bringing him down. White House to conduct review of intelligence agencies

By Gabby Morrongiello (@gabriellahope_)   President Trump is expected to ask New York hedge fund manager Stephen Feinberg to lead a close review of U.S. intelligence agencies, which the president has accused of leaking sensitive information to members of the press. Feinberg, a member of the president’s economic advisory council, has remained close to several senior White House aides and Trump himself.
