School Bans American Flags, Students Protest with Flags, School Reverses Ban

Now that’s a fairly smooth transaction. by Trey Sanchez Officials at Rocori High School in St. Cloud, Minnesota, decided to ban all flags on student vehicles after some students — they didn’t say how many — displayed Confederate flags. The overreaching plan backfired when the parking lot filled up the next day with American flags. The school said 30 people came to the school on Wednesday with flags in hand and around 25 vehicles were flying Old Glory in the parking lot. One student’s father even joined the protest to support his child. “This is his truck and he’s...

Obama’s liberal disciples prove better campaigners than leaders

Bryan MacDonald is an Irish journalist, who is based in Russia Canadian PM Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, Irish PM Varadkar and Former US President Barack Obamab © Reuters A very noticeable feature of contemporary politics is the tendency for young liberal politicians, often with extraordinary campaigning skills, to enter office on a wave of expectation and then bomb in the job. From the base of the victory column in Berlin’s Tiergarten, looking out toward the Brandenburg Gate, he addressed the excited crowds. Like a suited messiah, the senator from Illinois held the attention of around 200,000 people, promoting...

Attorney Clevenger: FBI Does Not Want People to Know How Badly They Covered up Hillary Clinton Scandal

by Jim Hoft The FBI has denied lawyer Ty Clevenger’s request to obtain documents related to Hillary Clinton’s email probe in late August. The bureau said in rejecting an open-records request there was a “lack of public interest” in the documents on the former US presidential candidate. On Thursday attorney Ty Clevenger joined Tucker Carlson to discuss the developing FBI scandal. Clevenger says the FBI is trying to cover its own rear-end on their handling of the Clinton investigation.   Ty Clevenger: Originally I thought there was some Obama holdover in the FBI that was trying to cover this...

FIGHTING FOR FAITH: Trump’s DOJ Files Brief Supporting Christian Baker Who Refused To Create Gay Wedding Cake

By Hank Berrien What a difference a change in the White House makes. On Thursday, the Trump Administration’s Department of Justice came down squarely on the side of Jack Phillips, the Christian baker who refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. Phillips violated the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act after he refused to make a cake for the wedding of Charlie Craig and David Mullins in 2012. Craig and Mullins filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, which ruled Phillips violated the state’s anti-discrimination law, a decision upheld by an appeals court. Colorado’s Supreme Court declined to...

Remember This Pic? Well Trump Just Had His Defining “Umbrella Moment”

By Cillian Zeal Sometimes, it’s the little things that define presidencies. If you’re Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy or Richard Nixon, for better or worse, that’s not necessarily the case. However, for Barack Obama, one of the moments that crystallized why he frustrated so many Americans came not from anything he did, but rather what he forced a Marine to do for him back in 2013. Back then, Obama was holding a joint press conference in the White House Rose Garden with Turkish strongman Recep Tayyip Erdogan when it started to rain. Instead of holding an umbrella for himself,...

by Jack Montgomery A police prosecutor has advised women in Germany to “run in pairs” and be mindful of their surroundings after a woman was brutally attacked in a public park. The unnamed victim, said to be “over 50 years old”, was out for a morning run when a stranger hurled her to the ground, dragged her into a nearby field, and raped her, Stern reports. The rapist also beat her so severely that she required emergency facial surgery after she was found. Police have described the perpetrator as a bearded, stocky male “of the southern type” — politically correct code...

by Chris Tomlinson Protesters heckled and whistled at German Chancellor Angela Merkel as she has campaigned in the eastern German regions of Brandenburg and Saxony this week. Supporters of the anti-mass migration Alternative for Germany (AfD) and of the far-right National Democrats (NPD) heckled Merkel calling her a “traitor to the people” as she gave a speech in Torgau, Die Welt reports. During her 30-minute speech, Merkel, who is currently leading in the polls in double digits, indirectly addressed the numerous protesters saying: “This is why we can be grateful that today we have democracy in Germany and free elections. Other peoples...

Bannon on 60 Minutes: Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell ‘Trying to Nullify 2016 Election’

by Tony Lee Former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon believes Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) are trying to “nullify” the 2016 election because they do not believe in the economic nationalist agenda that got President Donald Trump elected. In an interview with CBS anchor Charlie Rose that will air on Sunday’s 60 Minutes, Bannon said that is why he is going to “war” with the Republican establishment. He also revealed that McConnell even told Trump’s team to “back off” the “drain the swamp” talk during one of their first meetings....

PM Viktor Orban: ‘Hungary Is Not an Immigrant Country and Does Not Want to Become One’

by Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D. Viktor Orbán, Hungary’s redoubtable Prime Minister, has made it clear that Hungary has no intention of caving into pressures from the European Union (EU) to become an “immigrant country,” in a new letter to Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission. In his September 6 letter, Orbán tells Mr. Juncker that unlike other European nations, “Hungary is not an immigrant country, does not want to become an immigrant country and cannot accept being forced to change this.” Whereas other European nations have become immigrant countries due to obligations stemming from their colonial legacy, Hungary...

THE BAD AT SCIENCE GUY: Bill Nye Tries to Link Global Warming To Hurricanes, Fails Basic Hurricane Science

By Hank Berrien  Speaking with Dan Rather on Sirius XM, Bill Nye, The Bad-At-Science Guy, argued that the hurricanes the U.S. is experiencing have been strengthened by global warming. Rather precipitated Nye’s odyssey into absurdity by prompting, “Any doubt in your mind that climate change is contributing to both the increased number of hurricanes and the strength of the hurricanes?” Nye pontificated: Well, it’s the strength that is almost certainly associated with global warming. Now, everybody, global warming and climate change are the same thing. As the world gets warmer and there’s more energy in the atmosphere, you expect...
