Michigan House: The Second Amendment is Your Concealed Carry Permit

by AWR Hawkins On Wednesday the Michigan House passed legislation to stop requiring a government-issued permit for residents to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense. Prior to the vote, state Rep. Lee Chatfield (R-Levering) said, “There seems to be some confusion of what our constitutional rights are. Our right to defend ourselves comes from our Creator. Red Cross Therapist Stabbed to Death by Syrian Asylum Seeker

by Chris Tomlinson A Red Cross therapist who helped treat asylum seekers was stabbed to death by a 27-year-old Syrian after the pair got into a heated argument. The fatal stabbing occurred at a Red Cross facility in Saarbrücken that specialised in counselling and therapy for asylum seekers. The victim, a therapist employed by the Red Cross, was repeatedly stabbed by the Syrian and succumbed to his wounds at the scene, Die Welt reports.
