A winter storm is wreaking havoc in the Southeast US, as parts of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina get their heaviest snowfall in nearly 30 years. Forecasters say the “bomb cyclone” is likely to intensify. A Winter Storm Warning extends from the Gulf coast of Florida’s “Big Bend” region all the way up the Atlantic coast.
