Charges Dismissed Against 8th-Grader Who Wore NRA T-Shirt
On Wednesday, criminal charges against 14-year old Logan Middle School student Jared Marcum were dismissed by Judge Eric O’Briant. According to WOWKTV.COM, Marcum’s mother was grateful but expressed frustration: “It should have come sooner but it’s done and we don’t have to have that concern anymore about him having a criminal record.” The dismissal comes 70 days after Marcum wore an NRA T-Shirt to his Logan County, WV school and was told to take the shirt off.
