Colorado Voters Oppose Gun Control, Support Arming Teachers A Quinnipiac University poll released April 23rd shows Colorado voters oppose the stricter gun control Democrats instituted last year and support arming school teachers. According to the poll, Colorado voters oppose last year’s gun control by a margin of 56 to 39 percent. Quinnipiac shows a “trend” of growing opposition to the gun control measures–especially to the ban on “high-capacity” magazines–since August 2013.
