EU Begins Legal Procedures to Dump Muslim Refugees Into ‘Non-Compliant’ States

by Carter Tuesday, the EU began to take legal action against Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic due to their refusal to accept refugees. The European elites are a little upset about smarter states refusing to take in the disease that is “refugees”. The case in question comes from a decision by the EU to “proportionally” relocate 160,000 migrants. While Hungary and Poland refused to take in any migrants, the Czech Republic, in a masterstroke of trolling, decided to take in only 12. The EU, angry at this, is launching “infringement procedures” claiming that the three nations are violating...

Ship of Fools III – Global Warming Study Cancelled Because of ‘Unprecedented’ Ice

by James Delingpole A global warming research study in Canada has been cancelled because of “unprecedented” thick summer ice. Naturally, the scientist in charge has blamed it on ‘climate change.’ According to Vice: The study, entitled BaySys, is a $17-million four-year-long program headed by the University of Manitoba. It was planning to conduct the third leg of its research by sending 40 scientists from five Canadian universities out into the Bay on the Canadian Research Icebreaker CCGS Amundsen to study “contributions of climate change and regulation on the Hudson Bay system.” But it had to be cancelled because the...

Ex-Obama Adviser: Swamp Hates ‘Disruptive’ Trump Because He’s Challenging Power Structures Like Uber

by Tony Lee A former economic adviser to former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush told an international audience that the Washington, DC establishment hates President Donald Trump because he is “disruptive” and “challenging all the traditional power structures” like Uber. “He’s challenging all the traditional power structures — and [they] hate it,” Pippa Malmgren reportedly said at Monday’s FundForum International Conference in Berlin, Germany. She added that Trump is “as disruptive, disintermediating and mispricing, and with the equal lack of manners as Uber.” Despite the bad publicity surrounding Uber of late, MarketWatch pointed out that the company...

Liberal Geographer: California is Descending into Socialism

by Joel B. Pollak Liberal geographer Joel Kotkin has penned an op-ed in the Orange County Register warning that California is “descen[ding] into socialism” — one that is deigned to protect, rather than expropriate, its rich Silicon Valley elite. However, he warns, if California follows the socialist model preferred by its wealthy, liberal political class, it will have to expropriate that same elite to pay the cost, which fleeing middle class families cannot afford. Kotkin writes: The new consensus is being pushed by, among others, hedge-fund-billionaire-turned-green-patriarch Tom Steyer. The financier now insists that, to reverse our worsening inequality, we must double...
