Michigan county threatens to demolish 14 Amish homes unless they give up their religious beliefs and upgrade their homes

By The Daily Sheeple |  Sean Walton After harassing the Amish community for years regarding its water supply and disposal, the county health department posted signs on the Amish families’ homes earlier this year condemning them as “unfit for human habitation” and filed lawsuits against 14 Amish families in November. If successful, the lawsuits would result in the demolition of the Amish families’ homes and would effectively banish an entire religious community from Lenawee County. The ACLU and Wright & Schulte filed answers to those lawsuits Wednesday in Lenawee County Circuit Court, which include counterclaims against the county for religious...

Pelosi Delaying A Senate Trial Is ‘Unconstitutional’

By  Paul Bois Calling out the Democratic Party for its far-left extremism, Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz denounced House Speaker Pelosi’s plan to withhold sending the impeachment vote to the Senate for a trial as “unconstitutional.” As noted by Fox News, the Harvard Law professor’s recent op-ed for Newsmax came in response to his colleague Laurence Tribe, who backed Pelosi in not allowing a Senate trial on impeachment. “[Tribe] would withhold the trial until the Senate agreed to change its rules, or presumably until a new election put many more Democrats in the Senate. Under his proposal, there might...

Trump in 2016 because he believed he was the best man for the job. “My father knew Donald Trump, he believed in Donald Trump, and he voted for Donald Trump,” Graham wrote on Facebook early Friday. “He believed that Donald J. Trump was the man for this hour in history for our nation.” Rev. Donald Trump Rips ‘Far-Left’ Christianity Today Magazine for Endorsing Impeachment

by Charlie Spiering President Donald Trump reacted Friday to Christianity Today magazine and an article it published endorsing impeachment. Trump described the magazine as “far-left” and noted that although it was founded by Billy Graham, it had not been involved with the Graham family for years. “A far-left magazine, or very ‘progressive,’ as some would call it, which has been doing poorly and hasn’t been involved with the Billy Graham family for many years, Christianity Today, knows nothing about reading a perfect transcript of a routine phone call and would rather have a Radical Left nonbeliever, who wants to take...

Canadians divided on whether the West has legitimate beef with feds

By Amanda Connolly Canadians are no less divided now than they were just after the election, according to a new Ipsos poll exclusively for Global News. And while clear majorities of respondents in the Prairie provinces say they “have good reason to be mad about how they are treated by the federal government,” only about half of Canadians say they agree. More than 80 per cent of respondents in Alberta and 70 per cent in Saskatchewan and Manitoba said their provinces have legitimate beef with Ottawa. In contrast, 47 per cent of respondents nationwide said the same. That number...

CBC’s The National brings Canadians all the news that’s woke

William Watson I hope that, like me, you’re enjoying the brilliant self-parody CBC’s The National has been running as the holidays approach. Before going any further, however, I have to say, as one must these days, that this column is being written by a senior white male settler who is therefore irredeemably Privileged, Prejudiced and Past it. (I’m not actually a “settler” in the sense of having come here in a Red River wagon and broken ground to start subsistence farming on land I stole myself, but rather in that my grandparents came over on steamships just after the...
