Florida Man Kills Alleged Intruder, Inspires Neighbor to Purchase Gun On February 27, a North Lauderdale, Florida, homeowner shot and killed an alleged home intruder trying to break into the house. According to the Sun Sentinel, the homeowner saw the suspect trying to break into the storage shed in the backyard. The suspect then allegedly transitioned to the house, and the homeowner “fired multiple shots,” killing him.
