Texas Lawmaker Proposes Tax-Free Days For Firearm, Ammo Purchases Texas state representative Chris Paddie (R-Marshall) is proposing two new tax holidays for the Lone Star State–one to coincide with the beginning of dove season and another to coincide with the beginning of deer season. Both holidays would allow hunters to purchase firearms, ammunition, and hunting supplies tax-free. According to the Star-Telegram, Paddie said his bill “recognizes that hunting is time-honored tradition in Texas and looks to give tax relief to the sportsmen and women who continue one of our most cherished pastimes.” He said the two new tax-free holidays would… View Article

A Soros Trojan Horse inside the New Greek Government?

A Soros Trojan Horse inside the New Greek Government? As Greece celebrates the inauguration of its anti-austerity government, the euphoria should be tempered with a bit of realism. Although new Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who named his son «Ernesto» after Cuban revolutionary Ernesto «Ché» Guevara, and the vast majority of his new Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) government have good left-wing and pro-labor credentials, the same cannot be necessarily said of the man Tsipras chose to be Greece’s new finance minister. Yanis Varoufakisis a citizen of Australia who was educated in Britain and worked as a professor at the… View Article

Florida Senator: Gun-Free Zones ‘An Incubator’ for Criminals on Campus

Florida Senator: Gun-Free Zones ‘An Incubator’ for Criminals on Campus While Texas has been front and center in the news with the push for Open and Campus Carry, lawmakers in Florida and Arkansas made big gains in the push for various types of Campus Carry in their states during the past week. During the debates in Florida, the Tallahassee Democrat reported that Senate Criminal Justice Committee chairman Greg Evers (R-Baker) said, “The problem is that in gun-free zones, that we have on college campuses right now, those gun-free zones are just an incubator for folks that don’t follow the law.”… View Article

L.A. Times to NRA: Government’s ‘Responsibility’ To Regulate 2nd Amendment

L.A. Times to NRA: Government’s ‘Responsibility’ To Regulate 2nd Amendment On February 19, the Los Angeles Times reacted to the growing momentum for Campus Carry legislation across the country by referring to the NRA as “crackpots” and reminding the organization that it is the government’s “responsibility to protect the public through reasonable gun control laws.” In other words, “shall not be infringed” does not mean shall not be regulated and/or controlled. According to the Times, the NRA has hit a new low by promoting the idea that an expansion of Campus Carry means “gun-toting women would be armed to defend… View Article

Homicides, Rapes, Kidnappings Go Unsolved Due to Prop 47

Homicides, Rapes, Kidnappings Go Unsolved Due to Prop 47 George Soros sponsored Proposition 47, the prime mover for increased crime rates in California, as Breitbart News reported on Thursday, is responsible for a huge decrease in crucial DNA collection for law enforcement agencies. DNA collection is mandatory under current state law for those arrested for felonies. With the passage of Proposition 47, which reduced penalties for a variety of crimes, reclassifying numerous felonies as misdemeanors, the state’s DNA samples have diminished. The basic equation is less felonies equals less DNA samples equals reduced ability to solve crimes. Since the law… View Article

‘This Is A Black Area So F*** Off’ Young Mother Told: England

‘This Is A Black Area So F*** Off’ Young Mother Told: England West Midlands have confirmed they are investigation a racially aggravated attack against a white woman who had recently moved to a flat in Coventry. Sammie Sunter, 24, received a note saying ‘This area is black so f*** off’ after racist locals stuck it through her front door. The attackers, who apparently believed the area should be the exclusive preserve of one social group also smeared the front door with paint and what was described as “human faeces” just five days after she moved in, the metro reports. The mother, who… View Article

‘Government is Not the Enemy’. Oh really? Since when?

‘Government is Not the Enemy’. Oh really? Since when? Oh great. A new manifesto arguing for “compassionate conservatism.” Only this time, the authors have hit on the ingenious variant “The Good Right.” I’d love to tell Tim Montgomerie and Stephan Shakespeare exactly what I think of their limp-wristed apologia for precisely the kind of watered-down, damp-dishcloth faux-conservatism that has driven so many natural conservatives into the bosom of UKIP. But I won’t, obviously, because it will give them far too much masochistic pleasure. So let me just quibble, gently, with one of the numerous bits I particularly hate. It’s where… View Article

It is Not The Role of The State to Sexualise Our Children at School

It is Not The Role of The State to Sexualise Our Children at School, England This week, the Commons Education Select Committee recommended that sex and relationship education (SRE) should be taught in all primary schools, a suggestion following an Ofsted report which found that more than a third of schools were failing to provide ‘age appropriate’ SRE. I, for one, am absolutely horrified at the prospect that our primary school children could be bombarded with obscene imagery at such a young age as part of their so called ‘education’. Progressives such as Shadow Education Secretary Tristram Hunt are so… View Article
