Mexican Court Orders Release of Cartel Boss by Ildefonso Ortiz A Mexican federal judge ordered the release of a suspected cartel boss who has a history of getting arrested and released by authorities. As he was leaving the courthouse, authorities arrested him again. The case of Ruben “El Menchito” Oseguera Gonzalez appears to follow the long standing tradition of the Mexican court system that releases the cartel bosses after Mexican officials have made a spectacle about their capture.
