Public school suspends 8-year-old girl for wearing wrong shade of green An elementary school in the pleasantly named town of Sicklerville, New Jersey suspended an 8-year-old girl for the crime of wearing a kelly green polo shirt. According to AP, “Winslow Township School’s code on dress and grooming says ‘school attire can influence a pupil’s behavior and potentially impact the academic environment.’” School clothing must be white, dark green or navy.
