Immigration Officer: Border Deluge of Illegal Aliens ‘Is The Worst We’ve Ever Seen’

by Julia Hahn The flood of illegal aliens pouring across the southern border has become a “crisis situation” and is even worse than the record 2014 border surge, says an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer from El Paso, Texas with more than ten years of service to the agency. The ICE agency has no room to house the arriving surge, so many illegals are being released into American communities where they disappear “into the wind never to be seen by us again,” the agent said. The agent—who spoke to Breitbart News exclusively on the condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation by the administration—detailed how his overrun...

Australia to Ban Illegal Migrants Forever

by Liam Deacon Asylum seekers who attempt to illegally enter Australia by boat will never be allowed back into the country, even if they legally apply for refugee status or come as a tourist decades later. The tough new laws will be introduced by Immigration Minister Peter Dutton when Parliament returns, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. Australia is currently the only country in the world to mandate the strict detention of illegal migrants and asylum seekers. Anyone entering or found to be in Australia without a valid visa is locked up on the islands of Nauru and Manus. The new… View Article

FBI in Internal Feud Over Hillary Clinton Probe

Laptop may contain thousands of messages sent to or from Mrs. Clinton’s private server By Devlin Barrett The surprise disclosure that agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are taking a new look at Hillary Clinton’s email use lays bare, just days before the election, tensions inside the bureau and the Justice Department over how to investigate the Democratic presidential nominee. Investigators found 650,000 emails on a laptop used by former Rep. Wildrose convention delegates wooed by federal Conservative leadership hopefuls

Emma Graney More from Emma Graney The lure of 500 or so small-c conservatives at the Wildrose Party’s annual general meeting in Red Deer over the weekend proved an irresistible temptation for federal Conservative Party leader hopefuls. They walked the hallways of the event, shaking hands with Wildrose party faithful who are likely to be somewhat sympathetic to their cause. Part of it was about getting their names and faces out there in a western province that is somewhat removed from political machinations of Ottawa. It was particularly worthwhile to be meeting with politically engaged folks who are likely to...

Wildrose leader rejects PC merger in speech to party faithful

Brian Jean addressed the party’s annual general meeting Friday in Red Deer By Michelle Bellefontaine, Wildrose Leader Brian Jean is rejecting a union with the Progressive Conservatives, a party he described in a speech Friday as “confused about its values” and rife with “instability.” Speaking to the Wildrose annual general meeting in Red Deer Friday, Jean addressed the elephant in the room — how to respond to PC leadership candidate Jason Kenney’s vow to unite all right-wing Albertans under a single conservative party. Last year, Jean called on Wildrose members to invite everyone into their tent. He seemed open to merger talks with the PCs even as late as...

PC leadership candidates clash over carbon tax

James Wood, Calgary Herald More from James Wood, Calgary Herald A war of words among Tories is already underway as the Alberta carbon tax shapes up as one of the most divisive issues in a Progressive Conservative leadership race already deeply split over the idea of uniting the provincial right. Former Conservative MP Jason Kenney has vowed to scrap the NDP government’s incoming broad-based carbon levy, while other leadership candidates such as Donna Kennedy-Glans, Sandra Jansen and Byron Nelson have backed the concept of a carbon tax — even while decrying the NDP’s model. Richard Starke is the only other leadership...
