Venezuela Coup Timeline: Plotters Paid in US Dollars

Venezuela Coup Timeline: Plotters Paid in US Dollars, Planned to Assassinate President and Install De Facto Regime This story was completely blacked-out in the US media, and it’s no wonder why. Last week an attempted coup d’é·tat took place in Venezuela. It is the third failed US-backed coup attempt in the last 25 years. It was the latest episode of Washington’s war on democracy in South America. TeleSUR provided detailed coverage of a US-backed power grab which was reminiscent of the CIA’s gilded age of southern hemisphere nation-wrecking in the 1970′s. The ouster attempt saw key opposition fascist-oriented figures took… View Article

Anti-Government Groups a Bigger Threat Than ISIS

Anti-Government Groups a Bigger Threat Than ISIS While Islamic State brags about sleeper cells within U.S., DHS frets about right-wingers As President Barack Obama continues to receive criticism for his refusal to use the term “Islamic extremism,” some federal authorities and law enforcement groups in the United States assert that anti-government groups pose a bigger threat than ISIS. The Department of Homeland Security circulated an intelligence assessment earlier this month which focuses on right-wing sovereign citizens and other domestic extremists. “Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from sovereign citizen groups as equal to —… View Article

‘Islam Has Been Woven Into the Fabric of Our Country Since Its Founding’

‘Islam Has Been Woven Into the Fabric of Our Country Since Its Founding’ We hear a lot about the United States’ Judeo-Christian heritage, but according to President Obama, “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding.” That’s what the president told a White House conference on “countering violent extremism” on Wednesday. Obama has said similar things in the past: “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story,” Obama said in a June 2009 speech in Cairo, Egypt. “Islam has always been part of America,” he said in a 2010 statement… View Article

“Good News” That Secession Is Happening

“Good News” That Secession Is Happening “The good news is it’s gonna happen. It’s happening.” Former Republican presidential candidate and congressman Ron Paul says secession is happening and it’s “good news.” Paul later predicted the states would stop listening to federal laws. “I would like to start off by talking about the subject and the subject is secession and, uh, nullification, the breaking up of government, and the good news is it’s gonna happen. It’s happening,” Paul, the father of potential Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul, told a gathering at the libertarian Mises Institute in late January. The event Paul… View Article

Democrat Wasserman Schultz Pledged to Change Her Anti-Pot Vote for Dem Donor Florida Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been left this week trying to explain why her office promised that the congresswoman would change her anti-pot vote merely to make a big donor happy. Earlier in the week one of the Democrat Party’s donors slammed Wasserman Schultz for her stance against the legalization of pot. Orlando trial lawyer John Morgan had gone public with his distaste over Wasserman Schultz’ position and in a “tizzy” the congresswoman sent him an email demanding that he take back his criticism. Second Amendment Rights Squashed in Florida

Second Amendment Rights Squashed in Florida You have all heard the story of Dale Norman, the man in Fort Pierce who walked out of his house with his freshly minted Florida concealed carry license and was arrested because he did not realize his firearm was partially exposed. The local judge denied any and all constitutional arguments to have the case thrown out, and the court convicted Norman.
