ISIS sanctions organ harvesting from living ‘apostates’… even if it kills them

slamic State’s human organ harvesting is sanctioned by a fatwa issued last January, when the group’s Islamic scholars explained that internals of ‘apostates’ could be extracted from their bodies for the needs of Muslims, even if the ‘donors’ die. A document obtained by Reuters reveals that organs harvesting is charitable deed by codes of Islamic State (IS, former ISIS/ISIL), maintains IS’ Research and Fatwa Committee. “The apostate’s life and organs don’t have to be respected and may be taken with impunity,” says Fatwa (religious ruling) #68 issued January 31, 2015. “The notion that transplanting healthy organs into a Muslim person’s… View Article

Coal in their stockings

Shedding the pounds in Siberia can come with a particularly welcome reward — coal. When the long-serving — and somewhat overweight — governor of Russia’s Kemerovo region Aman Tuleyev promised earlier this year to reward locals with 1.5 tonnes of coal for every 10 kilos lost, everyone thought it was a just joke. But Tuleyev made good on his promise on Wednesday when Yelena Salnikova, a nurse from a small town of Berezovskiy, got a truck full of the black stuff from authorities in the coal-rich region for losing 30 kilos. “I had insomnia, headaches, I could hardly climb stairs to… View Article

Texas AG Ken Paxton: Public Universities Cannot Ban Guns in Dorms

by Merrill Hope Texas public universities cannot ban guns in dormitories because it violates Senate Bill 11, said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in a nonbinding opinion Monday about the new state law known as “campus carry.” This came in response to a request (RQ-0076-KP) filed by state Sen. Brian Birdwell (R-Granbury), the bill’s author. In his request, Birdwell clarified the term “campus carry” as a misnomer since “it has been legal for Texas concealed handgun licensees to carry on college campuses since 1996,” noting that S.B. 11 decriminalizes “the carrying of concealed handguns in College buildings, activity grounds and transportation vehicles…It also… View Article

Signs We Are Now Beating the Establishment

by C. Edmund Wright On the heels of the disastrous and obscene Omnibus Spending Orgy rubber stamped by the Obama Republicans in Congress last week – there is actually hope that we have turned the corner against the Republican Establishment wing of the Washington Cartel. It reminds me of the old adage about going bankrupt – first it happens slowly and then suddenly. That seems to describe the fall of the GOP establishment. The reality they face today is totally different from the one in 2014 – let alone 2012, 2010 and 2008. And yet, without some of the efforts… View Article

US National Insecurity: The Art of Blaming Russia (For Everything)

Daniel Spaulding 21st Century Wire In American politics the nation of Russia, especially as personified in its leader Vladimir Putin, becomes all things to all men. To American leftists, Russia is a neo-fascist, violently nationalist country that ruthlessly suppressed minority groups, especially homosexuals. To the American Right, Putin is the second coming of Stalin who is working to subvert good old-fashioned American values around the world. In line with the latter narrative, a certain Christian Gomez recently published an article on The New American website, the flagship of the John Birch Society, supposedly revealing that the Russian government is the real power behind… View Article
