Make It Snappy: US Rushes to Transfer 4,000 Troops to Baltics, Poland, Romania

Senior Polish and US defense officials have announced that the transfer of 4,000 Third Brigade combat troops to the Baltics, Poland and Romania from Fort Carson, Colorado, has been accelerated. Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz made the announcement on December 14 in the town of Zagan in Poland, where he met with Lieutenant-General Ben Hodges, commander of US land forces in Europe, according to the Associated Press.
