Study Shows Gun Bans Result In More Murders John Lott of the Crime Prevention Research Center has released a report that will make the gun grabbers cringe. He points out that, “every place that guns have been banned, murder rates have gone up.” In Great Britain after their 1997 ban, there was nearly a 50% rise in homicide rates.
