Suspect Puts Gun to Back of Store Manager’s Head, Gets Shot and Killed On April 30, an alleged robber walked up behind a manager at a Houston, Texas, check cashing store, put a gun to his head, and got shot twice in the chest. He died from his wounds. According to ABC 13, the alleged robber walked up behind the manager as he was opening the Ruiz Cash N Carry store around 8:30 in the morning.
