Trump with 7 Point Lead over GOP Field by Alex Swoyer Donald Trump is number one in a new nationwide poll from Quinnipiac University, with a seven-percentage point lead over all other GOP presidential candidates. Trump took 20 percent in the poll, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker comes in second with 13 percent. The third candidate according to the poll is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush with 10 percent.
