Widow Shoots Alleged Burglar One Week After Son Bought Her a Gun On February 19, a widow in Columbus, Ohio, shot and killed an alleged burglar one week after her son gave her a gun “to keep her safe.” According to 10TV, the woman heard someone breaking in around 5 am, grabbed her gun, and “fired multiple shots at [the suspect].” He was rushed to a hospital but pronounced dead two hours later.
