Michigan: Legislation Eliminating County Gun Boards Heads to Senate Floor Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Senate Bills 34 and 35 are expected to receive third reading and a vote on the Senate floor, after passing favorably out of the Senate Judiciary Committee without opposition last week. Please contact your state Senator immediately and urge swift passage of these bills.
South Dakota: Bill to Benefit Concealed Pistol Permit Holders Headed to House Floor Tomorrow
Last Friday, House Bill 1096 passed out of the House State Affairs Committee by an overwhelming 10-2 vote and will be considered tomorrow by the full House of Representatives.
Wyoming: Repeal Gun Free Zones Act Legislation Passes House
Today, House Bill 114, introduced by Representative Allen Jaggi (R-19), passed in the Wyoming House of Representatives, without amendment, by an overwhelming 42-17 vote. HB 114 would eliminate specific “gun free zones” in Wyoming, respecting the right of law-abiding concealed carry permit holders to lawfully carry in any meeting of a government entity, any public K-12 school and on the campus of any public college or university.
Oklahoma: 2015 Legislative Session is Now Underway

New Mexico: More Pro- and Anti-Gun Measures Introduced and Referred to Legislative Committees
At least four NRA-backed measures which eliminate the mid-term, two-hour refresher course for concealed handgun licensees and make other key reforms to the state’s carry laws have now been filed and have received committee assignments (see below). New Mexico is the only state in the country that imposes such an unnecessary and burdensome training requirement on its license holders.
