Black Senator Slams Whites, Then Issues Stunning Mass Shooting Threat
After a black Nebraska state senator known for making outrageous statements said something unheard of yet again — this time in reference to whites — nothing happened to him, and he continued to serve in office as if nothing had ever occurred.
What did he say this time? Oh nothing special, save for that he would pull out a semiautomatic weapon and “mow everybody down” if he were white.
“If I was up here, I’d probably pick these books up and start throwing them around,” Omaha Sen. Ernie Chambers said in regard to why he chose to watch a legislative debate about discrimination last week from his downstairs office rather than the state Senate chamber, according to the Lincoln Journal Star.
He added, “If I was a white guy, I’d go get my semiautomatic weapon and come down here and mow everybody down.”

Apparently, he believes that being a white man would preclude him from facing any punishment were he to commit a mass shooting. Yet ironically enough, as a black man he faced zero legal backlash after he made a blatantly racist threat.
He later added, “Be glad when the snake rattles. My words are all that I’m using.”
What makes the case of old Ernie Chambers, 78, so distressing is that this is not the first time he has said something despicable.
Almost one year ago exact, Chambers accused the police of terrorizing people in his district and insinuated that he wanted to shoot a cop.
“And if I carried a gun I’d want to shoot him first and then ask questions later, like they say the cop ought to do,” he said.

And now here he is again making offensive statements, and just like last time, it looks like he will face zero repercussions for his abhorrent behavior.
