State of The Union

3 Best Things From President Trump’s First State Of The Union Speech

As is often the case, I don’t agree with everything President Trump said in his State of the Union. But overall, it was a very strong speech.
President Trump delivered his first State of the Union speech last night. In more than an hour, he touched on many topics. As is often the case, I don’t agree with everything he said. But overall, it was a very strong speech. There are three things in his speech that impressed me the most.

1. Gave Credit to the American People

People who don’t like President Trump often complain about how big his ego is. But during last night’s speech, he used very few “I”s. From the very beginning of his speech, he gave all the credit to the American people. He mentioned that through the challenges our nation faced last year, “We have seen the beauty of America’s soul and the steel in America’s spine. Each test has forged new American heroes to remind us who we are and show us what we can be.”

Trump’s State of the Union was very inclusive – No wonder it shook up Democrats

Watching and listening to President Trump’s first State of the Union address Tuesday night, I was struck by how wide-ranging and visionary it was. I was also struck by how deeply the Democrats reject everything uttered by President Trump – even when it is something they believe in and support.

The president’s guests were emotionally powerful as examples of his values and the values in which most Americans believe. The synergistic impact of their personal stories being tied into the larger principles of the speech was inspiring. They were not only emotional guests. They were didactic guests, whose stories taught us something about ourselves and the values that have made America both unique and great.

Democrats’ response to Trump proves they aren’t interested in improving American lives

The liberal leadership does not want America to succeed, simply because the president is Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump has one of the most successful first years in office under his belt, and now he can add one of the most successful State of the Union addresses to his list of accomplishments. As he noted on Tuesday night, his leadership has led to $1.5 trillion dollars in total tax cuts and over 3 million Americans have already been awarded a bonus or pay raise thanks to the new tax plan. More than 2.4 million new American jobs were created during his first year in office, and companies are committing to investing hundreds of billions of dollars into our economy, which will strengthen our already-growing economy.

Democrats Might Pay For Endless Scowling During Trump’s Speech

They said he was unstable. They said he was dangerous. Well, that narrative that the liberal media has been crafting for weeks was torpedoed in about 90 minutes last night when President Donald J. Trump delivered his State of the Union address. Liberals were already going apoplectic over it, with more than a few suggesting that no matter what he says—it’s not presidential. Amid the tantrum came one of the most appalling displays by an opposing party in recent memory. Democrats sat there, silent, fuming, and still sour over the fact that Hillary Rodham Clinton would a) never become president; and b) never deliver the speech Trump delivered last night.
