Ted, white and blue: Nugent eyes White House

Rock legend and gun-rights activist Ted Nugent is considering a presidential bid, according to a report in Washington Post Magazine. “Things are just so wrong in the country now,” Nugent said. “And I know that my answers would make things wonderful, unless you just refuse to produce, and then I’d recommend that you move to Canada. Or Illinois.” Nugent, a New York Times bestselling author and board member of the National Rifle Association, even has a slogan: “Hi, I’m Ted Nugent. I have nine children from seven… View Article

RCMP Break into Homes and Seize Guns

HIGH RIVER — RCMP revealed Thursday that officers have seized a “substantial amount” of firearms from homes in the evacuated town of High River. “We just want to make sure that all of those things are in a spot that we control, simply because of what they are,” said Sgt. Brian Topham. “People have a significant amount of money invested in firearms … so we put them in a place that we control and that they’re safe.” That news didn’t sit well with a crowd of frustrated residents who had planned to breach a police checkpoint northwest of the town… View Article

IL Democrats Blast Gov Quinn’s Weakening of Concealed Carry Bill

While everyone watched to see whether Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn (D) would sign the recently passed concealed carry legislation into law or veto it, he took another route and changed the bill–unilaterally. As a result, even Democrat lawmakers are outraged over Quinn’s actions. Quinn watered down the concealed bill so that a gun cannot be carried in any establishment that serves alcohol, which takes almost every restaurant except for fast food spots off the table. He also limited concealed carry license holders to carrying only one magazine… View Article

Top 20 Obama scandals: The list

(NaturalNews) As a junior U.S. senator from Illinois, Barack Obama used his  brief career to essentially snipe at President Bush and others in his  administration over what he believed were a series of legal and constitutional  abuses. Most ironically Obama, in 2006, blasted Bush over his approval of warrantless domestic  spying by the National Security Agency – spying that has not only  continued since then but which was expanded exponentially under Obama.  Then as now, both presidents claim authority to do so as commander-in-chief, in  defense of the country, and under… View Article

Egyptian coup uncovers anti-Obama sentiment

America certainly has popularity problems – despite spending billions of  dollars – among the nations in the Middle East and north Africa, but it took  Wednesday’s uprising in Egypt, in which a Muslim Brotherhood-linked president  apparently was taken down, to reveal the full extent of dislike of America’s  president, Barack Obama. “Wake Up America Obama backs Up a Fascist Regime in Egypt,” declared one  banner. “Obama Supports Terrorism,” said another. And another stated, “Obama you jerk. Muslim Brotherhoods are killing the  Egyptians so how come they can guarantee you the security of Israel. Hey Obama, … View Article

President Vladimir Putin signed a law Wednesday banning the adoption of children by same-sex couples in Russia and abroad – and by residents of foreign countries where gay marriages are sanctioned. The latest act aims to protect children from “dictated  non-traditional sexual behavior” and protect them from   “distress”, which psychologists say is experienced by  children raised by same sex parents according to a fact sheet on  the Kremlin’s website. The act, which amends the Family Code and several federal laws,  also eases some adoption procedures for Russians and expands  orphans’ rights to medical care.
