Sky Deutschland to broadcast adverts directly into heads

          Passengers leaning their head against the window will “hear” adverts “coming from inside the user’s head”, urging them to download the Sky Go app. The proposal involves using bone conduction technology, which is used in hearing aids, headphones and Google’s Glass headset, to pass sound to the inner ear via vibrations through the skull. Indiana Swamped with Gun Permit Applications

Police report that an explosion in gun sales has caused a major backlog for gun permit applications. In the month of January, applications rose to nearly six times the state’s monthly average. Firearm retailers say the increased demand is causing some customers to wait as long as six months for approval.

Russia, China naval drills in Sea of Japan

China and Russia have begun their biggest-ever joint naval drills in the Sea of Japan amid growing indications of a broad-based enhancement of ties between former Cold War rivals. Bolivian President Evo Morales, whose plane was diverted in Europe this week due to false rumors that US surveillance whistleblower Edward Snowden was on board, says the Latin American country does not need the United States Embassy in La Paz. Canada Repeals Section 13

                  Last week, the Senate of Canada passed Bill C-304, which repealed Section 13 and 54 of the Canadian Human Rights Act.
