Another study finds that diversity lead to mistrust and lack of community cohesion

Source: citylab.com It turns out the most cohesive neighborhoods are almost never the most diverse ones. But does that mean we shouldn’t fight against self-segregation? Ed comment: Why fight against the natural force of self organization? This is backed up by the study that Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam did on how diversity hurts civic life. Urbanists and planners like to imagine and design for a world of diversity. Diversity, we like to think, is both a social good and, as I’ve argued, a spur to innovation and economic growth. But to what degree is this goal of diverse, cohesive community attainable, even in theory? That’s...

Senior Muslim Cleric: Universal Female Genital Mutilation ‘Would Be Very Good’

by Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D. A senior Muslim cleric in Russia has suggested that universal female genital mutilation (FGM) would be a positive development, after a rights group released a report denouncing the practice earlier this week. Female genital mutilation does not pose health risks and “does not contradict the dogmas of Islam,” said Mufti Ismail Berdiyev, the head of the North Caucasus Muslim Coordination Center. Berdiyev said Wednesday that if FGM “could be applied to all women, that would be very good.” FGM does not stop women from fulfilling their ordained role of motherhood, he added, and if...

Dr. Drew: ‘Gravely Concerned’ About Hillary’s Health and Healthcare

by Tiffany Gabbay  He said her medical treatment looks like something out of 1950s Arkansas. You know Dr. Drew Pinsky — the popular on-air medical professional who was recently begged by CNN’s Don Lemon to diagnose Donald Trump with a mental health disorder? Well, Dr. Drew wasn’t able to oblige Lemon concerning Trump’s mental health, but he has a great deal to say about Hillary Clinton’s physical health. During an appearance Wednesday on KABC’s McIntyre in the Morning, Dr. Drew said that he and his colleague Dr. Robert Huizenga reviewed medical records Hillary Clinton had released some time ago, and found both her health, and the health care...

Soros Foundation Spent $6 Million to Destroy Populism

by Virginia Hale Having spent $6 million influencing the 2014 European Parliament elections, leaked documents show the Open Society Foundations (OSF) hoped the campaign would centre on condemnation of “xenophobic discourse”. Seeking to influence the elections, the OSF planned to “mitigate the feared populist surge” and “limit the damage” they believe is caused by “xenophobic” and anti-EU campaigns. The papers show that billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros’ NGO funded numerous projects to “monitor”, “shame” and “ridicule” what the group calls “hate speech” across the Europe. While attempting to stamp down on identity politics for Europeans, the organisation also sought to...

There IS life after DEATH: Scientists reveal shock findings from groundbreaking study

LIFE after death has been “confirmed” by scientists who have discovered consciousness continues even once a person has died. By Sean Martin In a large scale study of more than 2,000 people, British boffins confirmed that thoughts DO carry on after the heart stops. The shock research has also uncovered the most convincing evidence of an out of body experience for a patient declared dead. It had been believed the brain stopped all activity 30 seconds after the heart had stopped pumping blood around the body, and that with that, awareness ceases too. However, the study from the University...

POLLS based on 100,000 people or more show Donald Trump clobbering Hillary Clinton big time

By BareNakedIslam Despite a majority of opinion polls suddenly showing the 2016 presidential election going to Democrat Hillary Clinton, a smartphone app developer says his data indicate that challenger Donald Trump will be the victor. Physicist Predicts Global Cooling, Warming Alarmists Want Research ‘Silenced’

by Trey Sanchez Nothing shall challenge the narrative. Global warming alarmists resist any science that doesn’t toe their line, and one physicist in the UK is speaking out about how her research on global cooling is ruffling their feathers. Northumbria University at Newcastle Professor Valentina Zharkova has been researching what she believes are indicators of a coming period of global cooling. According to The Washington Times, her research, “Irregular heartbeat of the Sun driven by double dynamo” was presented in July at the National Astronomy Meeting in Llandudno, Wales and also posted to the website of The Royal Astronomical Society:...
