Ever wanted a pump-action slingshot that fires knives?

From deep in his Bavarian bunker, Joerg Sprave gets back into the slingshot game with a pump action repeater that is fed by Kunai knives. Magazine fed, Joerg’s projector will hold eight of the sharp Kunai blades. A rubber band-powered sled hurls the blade down a channel made by aluminum guides and out the front. It seems crazy simple but JS pledges to make an all-aluminum version to crank up the power. We get the idea that Joerg’s house has a lot of battle damage.

University of Texas Will Let Students and Faculty Bring Guns to Class

Alicia Powe Walking in the dark. Studying in a private area. Criminal activity set us up for the need to protect ourselves. What remains a mystery to pro-gun advocates is why a college campus should be thought of as somehow separate or different from any other place that people live and work when it comes to issues of self-defense. Texas’ universities used to be gun-free zones under the state’s concealed handgun laws, but the Republican-dominated legislature voted last year to force public universities to allow license holders to bring their guns to campus. The president of the University of Texas...

There are currently “221,712 active permit holders” in Minnesota. The Gun Owners Civil Rights Alliance (GOCRA) says this means “the number of active carry permits in the state has grown...

Obama and Other Gun Control Proponents Own Stock in Gun Companies

by AWR Hawkins A February 5th Reuters report shows that staunch gun control proponents President Obama and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) both own stock in gun companies. Obama owns his stock through an Illinois pension plan which, in turn, “has about $5 million invested directly in several gun and ammo makers.” Durbin owns his stock through the S Fund, a “federal retirement benefit” that owns stock in gun manufacturers. So both men own their stock indirectly, but they own it nonetheless. According to Reuters, Obama “has up to $100,000” invested into the Illinois pension plan “from his days in the… View Article

Utah Legislator: Concealed Carry Permit a Burden on Second Amendment

by AWR Hawkins State senator David Hinkins (R-Orangeville) is pushing to remove the concealed carry permit requirement in Utah because he believes it unfairly burdens the exercise of Second Amendment rights. Utah allows open carry of a handgun without a permit, but a person legally—and openly—carrying a handgun requires a concealed permit if his jacket or sweater hangs down over the gun, thereby hiding it from plain sight. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Hinkins said, “If you have it on your body and it’s out in the open, you’re OK. But the minute you put it in your...
