Mexico Murder Rate 5X Higher than U.S. Despite Strict Gun Control

Concealed Permits Surge 215% Under Obama

by AWR Hawkins A recently released Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) study shows the number of concealed carry permits in the U.S. has surged by 215% under President Obama. The number of permits held nationwide surpasses 14.5 million, which means “6.06% of the total adult population has a permit.” According to CPRC, there was an increase of 1.73 million concealed permits in 2015 alone. This was 100,000 greater than the previous record of 163,000, set in 2014. Concealed Carry Permit Holders Are The Most Law-Abiding People In The Country

By: Aaron Bandler A newly-released report suggests that concealed carry permit holders are the most law-abiding citizens in the U.S. The report, written by Crime Prevention Research Center president John Lott, notes that it is “very rare for permit holders to violate the law” and compares the crimes committed by permit holders to police officers and the general population. Chicago: ‘Deadliest July in 10 Years’ for Gun Control Haven
