Candidate Mocks Gun Owners, Christianity

Montana U.S. Sen. Candidate Mocks Gun Owners, Christianity, the Bible, and the Family Montana State Senator Amanda Curtis (D-76 Dist.) is running for U.S. Senate and will no doubt be trying to run away from her past statements mocking guns, Christianity, the Bible, and the family. She just stepped into the race in place of John Walsh, the Democrat candidate who had to step down amid a plagiarism scandal. On August 22 the Tea Party Express posted a compilation of Curtis’s statements that include laughing at gun owners who stress the importance of having a gun for self defense. She… View Article

Quebec and Ontario want more infrastructure cash

Quebec and Ontario want more infrastructure cash Ontario and Quebec are calling on the federal government to increase infrastructure funding because of the slower rate of economic recovery and job creation in Eastern Canada. Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and Quebec’s Philippe Couillard said Thursday they are looking for improved and stable funding that allows provinces to determine their own infrastructure investment priorities. “Infrastructure in Canada has to be modernized from one ocean to another but I would say it’s particularly important in Eastern Canada because the economic recovery and job creation is weaker in the East than in the West,”… View Article

Canadian police forces bulking up with armoured vehicles

Canadian police forces bulking up with armoured vehicles Growing numbers of Canadian police agencies in recent years have added armoured vehicles to their crime-fighting arsenals — beasts on wheels that go by such names as Thunder 1, BearCat and Grizzly. Several are retired military combat vehicles that have been modified and donated by the Canadian Forces. Other police agencies have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase custom-built armoured trucks from private specialty builders. Scenes of heavily armed and armoured police clashing with protesters in Ferguson, Missouri, following the shooting of an unarmed black man, have sparked discussions on… View Article

Cliché alert: Grits ‘rolling up their sleeves’

Cliché alert: Grits ‘rolling up their sleeves’ for Canada But when are they going to start to tell us what it is they stand for? The Liberals are “rolling up their sleeves” for Canadians. We know that because Liberal leader Justin Trudeau dug repeatedly into his bag of clichés for that one when speaking to reporters covering this week’s caucus retreat in Edmonton. “We’ve had a good year, really rolled up the sleeves, drawing together a great team across the country, strong candidates, putting forward serious proposals for Canadians,” he said on Tuesday. Or when asked on Wednesday if he… View Article

Evidence linking MMR vaccines to autism

CDC refuses to turn over documents to Congress: Evidence linking MMR vaccines to autism intentionally withheld from investigators News has been rapidly exploding across the “truth media” regarding the CDC whistleblower who is now making shocking revelations: The CDC’s own research found that MMR vaccines caused autism in African-American children, and the agency knowingly buried this evidence to hide it from the public. The scientific conspiracy went all the way to the top of the CDC, where Dr. Julie Gerberding — now an executive with vaccine maker Merck — took an active role in the cover-up and even arranged to… View Article
