No Tipping Allowed – Teachers Promote Homosexuality

No Tipping Allowed – Teachers Promote Homosexuality If you’re in the Parksville area on Vancouver Island this week, why not stop in at the newly opened Smoke and Water restaurant, in the Pacific Shores Resort? Only don’t bother leaving a tip. They won’t take it. The owner claims to be the first in Canada to adopt the no-tipping policy, and for all I know he’s right. Still, it’s a wonder why others have not, for simplicity’s sake if nothing else. Rather than leave it to patrons to puzzle over how much to add to the bill, the restaurant simply tacks… View Article

Intolerant Libs – Increase of Women Buying Guns

Intolerant Libs – Increase of Women Buying Guns Liberals have always been the self-proclaimed group of tolerance. Or so that’s what they’ve told me all my life. Yet, I feel surrounded by confusion because most of my adult life I have noticed that liberals, while strangely tolerant of every immoral and bad behavior known to man, never seems tolerant enough to allow those with opposing views to speak their own opinions on practically any subject. In fact, for the tenure of my life that I have been politically aware of my surroundings, it seems that liberals are continuously the least… View Article

Team Names Nonscense – Kangaroo Courts

Team Names Nonscense – Kangaroo Courts Colbert’s bit mocked this notion by resurrecting a (purposefully) offensive Asian character, “Ching-Chong Ding-Dong.” Now, let’s first point out that the character was originally used in response to a Rush Limbaugh controversy, where Rush went on at length in a sing-song faux Asian voice. And, while Limbaugh did get a little heat over it for like a day, I don’t recall conservatives being up in arms about it. Funny that. Anyway, Colbert’s entire bit was both a rip on the owner of the Redskins, and on age-old Asian stereotypes held by mostly white people…. View Article

Trudeau Selective Abortions – Self Defence

“The Liberal leader’s refusal to condemn the awful practice of sex-selection abortion puts him far, far outside the mainstream of public opinion,” Williamson said in an e-mail Monday. “When aborting girls just because they are girls doesn’t cause Justin Trudeau to even question that decision or express any unease it is safe to say he is a pro-abortion fanatic.”Asked how he would counsel a woman seeking an abortion to prevent giving birth to a girl, Trudeau said he’d “leave discussions like that between a woman and the health professionals that she encounters.” His office later sent out a statement that… View Article

Turks and Caicos an 11th Canadian province?

Turks and Caicos an 11th Canadian province? The premier of Turks and Caicos is leaving the door open to the prospect of his country joining Canada, even though he has opposed the idea in the past. But Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird suggested Monday that Canadians are dreaming if they think they’ll have a province in the Caribbean any time soon. Turks and Caicos Premier Rufus Ewing met Prime Minister Stephen Harper in Ottawa, where he says the two leaders spoke about exploring a more formal relationship. Ewing described the meeting as a “courtship,” but said the pair did not… View Article

Liberals pose as protesting NDPers

Liberals pose as protesting NDPers On Saturday afternoon, as NDP Leader Andrea Horwath mainstreeted in Chatham, Ont., three men stood in silent protest a few feet away. Holding hand-made signs reading “No right turn!” and “Where are the real NDP?” the trio took square aim at Ms. Horwath’s abandonment of big picture policy for small ball populism, pointing to a deepening rift in the party that blew into the open with a letter from 34 disaffected New Democrats the day before. There was just one problem: lanyards around the mens’ necks clearly identified them as Liberals. One even sported a… View Article
