This New Bill Would Require Background Checks On All Parents

(Daniel Jennings)  All parents of children in public and private schools would have to undergo social services background checks when enrolling their kids in school in Ohio under a new proposed state law. The bill by State Senator Capri S. Cafaro (D-Youngstown) specifically exempts most homeschoolers, although it doesn’t exempt homeschool families who form what is called a non-chartered, non-tax-supported school. The bill also would require school officials to inform Child Protective Services (CPS) if a parent who was under investigation enrolled a child in school. CPS would be required to continue the investigation or open a new one. The… View Article

One of the world’s top visionaries, Elon Musk, sees World War III as a possible potential threat to his plans of colonizing the red planet. In a recent lengthy interview, the man behind Paypal, Tesla and SpaceX has confessed that he feels another World War is more real than it may seem. “You know, in 1912 they were proclaiming a new age of peace and prosperity, saying that it was a golden age, war was over. And then you had World War I, followed by World War II, followed by the Cold War. So I think we need to acknowledge… View Article

Ohio Middle School Allowing Students to Opt Out of Islam Lesson if Parents make the Request

John S. Roberts Education in America isn’t too kind to Christianity. In fact, I remember hearing about a certain school district that was teaching its students about religions and skipped over Christianity entirely. You know, because Christians haven’t contributed to the world for the better, or something. In a bit of good news, a middle school in Ohio is allowing their students to opt out of a lesson on Islam if their parents agree to it. The absolute last thing we need Generation Z to learn about would be the Koran. From TR: Ohio middle schoolers are being allowed to opt out of… View Article

Thanks to Trump, fringe news enters the mainstream

By Paul Farhi Alex Jones may be America’s most successful conspiracy theorist. On his website, Infowars.com, and his daily radio program heard on more than 100 stations nationwide, Jones regularly promotes a variety of beyond-the- fringe ideas: alleged government conspiracies in the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 and the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001; fluoride-in-the-water health scares; suspicions that the moon landings were faked; doubts about President Obama’s place of birth and birth certificate. Jones, in short, may be Donald Trump’s kind of guy. The ranting radio host and the leading Republican candidate shared a microphone, and some common… View Article
